Can everyone be there on the day?

Our funeral live-streaming services enable friends and family who are unable to attend the funeral in person to still participate in the service, regardless of their location. This is especially important in today's world, where travel restrictions and social distancing measures have made it difficult for people to gather in large groups.

With our high-quality live-streaming technology, we ensure that those who cannot be there in person can still pay their respects and be a part of the ceremony. We are committed to providing a compassionate and reliable service, and we strive to create a meaningful and dignified experience for all who are involved.

EXPERIENCE

Experience matters when it comes to delivering a successful live stream for a funeral. Funeralcast has been providing funeral streaming services for over 18 years. Over that time, we have refined our approach and have become experts in the field. We understand that funeral streaming is not just about technology; it's about capturing the essence of the service and ensuring that those who cannot attend in person still feel connected to the ceremony.

WEB INTERFACE

A dedicated web page for an online funeral is a critical component of a seamless and respectful virtual experience. The page should be polished and discreet, with a professional design that reflects the solemnity of the occasion. A large video player is essential, as it enables attendees to view the service in high definition without distractions. Hosting the funeral on YouTube or Facebook can be inappropriate, as these platforms are often associated with casual content and may not provide the privacy and security needed for such an important event. A dedicated web page offers a more controlled environment, ensuring that attendees can focus on the funeral without any unwanted distractions or interruptions.

TECHNOLOGY

Good technology is vital for delivering a live stream of a funeral service as it ensures that the service can be viewed by those who are unable to attend in person. The use of high-quality cameras, audio equipment, and reliable streaming hardware encoders can help ensure that the service is streamed smoothly and without interruption, providing a meaningful experience for those watching remotely. Without good technology, there is a risk of technical difficulties or poor quality, which can cause frustration and disappointment for those trying to participate in the service from a distance.

FAQ

“I’ve never organised a live stream for a funeral before. How does it work?”

After you make a booking, we will send you a link to share with family and friends. On the day of the service, our camera operator will arrive one hour early to set up and test the equipment. Once everything is ready, we will broadcast the service on the page provided in the link. After the service ends, the broadcast will stop, and the recording will remain available on the same page for family and friends to view.

“Do we need to provide anything?”

In our booking confirmation email, we will provide a Dropbox link for you to upload the Order of Service, video tribute (slideshow), or any other digital assets.

“Do our family and friends need to do anything?”

Family and friends can easily watch the live stream by clicking the link we provide. The stream works on any device with a web browser, including tablets and mobile phones, as long as the device has a stable internet connection.

“How private is the live stream? Can anyone find it on Google?”

Our live streams are hidden from Google searches. If someone tries to Google the deceased's name, our live stream page will not be found in the search results. However, we can provide an additional layer of privacy with a randomly generated 4-digit P.I.N code.

“Can you do a graveside burial or outdoor memorial service?”

Yes, we can livestream from just about anywhere. We specialise in every kind of production requirement, including multi-camera, outside broadcasts, and high-level productions for V.I.P’s and large event occasions.

“What is the cost to professionally livestream a funeral?”

The cost of our service depends on the time, location, and complexity of the funeral. Our live stream service starts at $990.00 for a 45-minute service, which includes an on-site camera operator, a studio operator, and a dedicated web page. Since every funeral is unique, we recommend calling our friendly team at 02 8006 8894 to discuss your specific needs and how we can assist.
